Cars that let you down in the 1/4 mile

Post by BlackSmith0903 on Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:23 am

I-C5 & myself have tried to find a few "Sleeper Cars" & they turned out to be big let downs. Example the Buick GNX for I-C5 & the Spyker for myself. What cars did you have high hopes for only to see it crash & burn or run way slower than you expected?

The Trans Cammer Mustang, I know it is heavy but I still had high expectations for it.

Looks like a full on dragster but weighs as much as a dump truck Laughing

I've had high hopes for the Supra & Mustang both of which can get well above 1000hp IRL...

Those are two of my favorite cars irl and in game. I wish there were more Mustangs.

The McClarin f1,it has good power and great looks but its such a beast to tune and drive also the Cerbera speed 12 ,what a monster but getting it to hook up is tough.

You guys are gonna think this is lame but I'm very disappointed in the vw bora. I tuned it thinking I had found a good sleeper to compete with evos and stis. That thing wouldn't even put out 400hp when I was done. I foolishly held out with hopes and expectations of breaking 11s with it. But pffffft! I fell asleep before the end of my run. Real piece of s***that car is.

Supra- everytime I race this car I think why can it be like the hpa golf....
GNX- BIG turd this turned out to be. I was thinking DEFINITE 10.1 maybe even a high 10.0... 10.4...84. Yahhh your going to be collecting dust.
Bora Jetta- and I thought I was the only one who wanted to tune a chicks car haha. I to had high hopes but when I saw it peaked at just 335hp my hopes dwindled. And then they died when I couldn't even manage a HIGH 11. That's a for sure 12 car.
Zr1 and Zonda 7.3- I'm not really disappointed as more have questions why these two 900+hp cars can only manage a mid to high 9.2.

I'm disappointed of the BMW 330i. The best I've gotten in that car is a 11.9 with 410 hp. I thought it could go at least up to 500 horsepower. Gay

A Mustang with the right setup can push 4500hp. No bull.
